13 Chakra System

The 13-chakra system is an expanded energy model that builds on the more widely known 7-chakra system. It includes additional centers below the body (grounding), within the body (core function), and above the body (higher awareness and connection).

1. Earth Star Chakra
Location: Below your feet (6–18 inches into the Earth)
Purpose:
This is your deep grounding point. It connects you to the Earth itself—stability, safety, and belonging.
It’s often associated with feeling anchored, supported, and physically present.

2. Root Chakra
Also called: Base Chakra
Location: Base of spine
Purpose:
Survival, security, basic needs, home, body awareness.
This is your foundation for physical life.

3. Sacral Chakra
Location: Lower abdomen
Purpose:
Creativity, sensuality, emotions, relationships, pleasure.
This chakra governs your ability to feel and create.

4. Navel Chakra
Also called: Lower Solar or “Hara” (in some systems)
Location: Around the belly button
Purpose:
Personal energy, digestion (physically and emotionally), inner balance.
It bridges emotion (sacral) and power (solar plexus).

5. Solar Plexus Chakra
Location: Upper abdomen
Purpose:
Personal power, confidence, identity, willpower.
This is your sense of self and direction.

6. Heart Chakra
Location: Center of chest
Purpose:
Love, compassion, forgiveness, connection.
This is the bridge between physical and spiritual energy centers.

7. High Heart Chakra (Over Heart)
Also called: Thymus Chakra
Location: Upper chest (above the heart)
Purpose:
Higher compassion, unconditional love, divine love, empathy beyond the personal.
This is often described as love without attachment.

8. Throat Chakra
Location: Throat
Purpose:
Communication, truth, expression, integrity.
This chakra governs your voice—spoken and unspoken.

9. Third Eye Chakra
Location: Between the eyebrows
Purpose:
Intuition, perception, insight, inner vision.
This is your awareness and intuitive understanding.

10. Crown Chakra
Location: Top of head
Purpose:
Connection to higher consciousness, wisdom, universal awareness.
This is your spiritual connection point.

11. Soul Star Chakra
Location: About 6–12 inches above the head
Purpose:
Soul-level awareness, life purpose, higher guidance.
Often described as where your soul blueprint or higher self connection resides.

12. Stellar Gateway Chakra
Location: Further above the head
Purpose:
Connection beyond the individual soul—cosmic consciousness, universal intelligence.
This is seen as a gateway to higher dimensions or universal awareness.

13. Universal / Divine Gateway Chakra
Location: Highest level in this system (above the stellar gateway)
Purpose:
Pure unity, oneness, connection to the divine source or all-that-is.
This represents complete energetic integration and unity consciousness.

Putting it all together

• 1–2: Ground you into Earth and physical life
• 3–6: Human experience (emotions, identity, love)
• 7–10: Expression, perception, and spiritual awareness
• 11–13: Higher consciousness, soul, and universal connection
