A Brief History 
The modern tensor ring traces its lineage to the research of Slim Spurling, an inventor and environmental scientist based in Colorado, USA during the 1980s and 1990s. Drawing inspiration from ancient Egyptian geometry, Spurling explored how precise proportions could influence the organization of energy in space.
His work was grounded in the rediscovery of the “Sacred Cubit”, a unit of measure found in Egyptian architecture and the Great Pyramid of Giza. When copper wire was cut and formed into a closed loop of this proportion, Spurling observed a consistent and stable energetic pattern — what he termed a tensor field. This simple yet elegant geometry has since been refined into what we now call the tensor ring.

A tensor ring is made by twisting and joining copper wire into a continuous loop based on the Egyptian cubit measurement.
